The Theory of Everything

Blue Yonder Pictures and ChristianCinema.com release a compelling film, The Theory of Everything, which takes a fascinating look at two stems of thought: science and faith. A love story at its core, the motion picture considers how science and faith are not incompatible, as most would think.

Does scientific evidence imply that there is a spiritual realm? Can faith and science coincide rather than oppose each other? A moving story of family, faith and theoretical physics, The Theory of Everything, will inspire you to "Envision the Possibilities."

In this feature film, Doug Holloway (David de Vos), a family man on the verge of financial and marital ruin, embarks on a journey to find his birth father, Dr. Eugene Holland (Victor Lundin). Dr. Holland is on a mission of his own - to prove the Holy Grail of physics - the Theory of Everything - that may prove the existence of God. His greatest challenge: Completing his quest before a degenerative brain disease (CJD) claims his ability to reason. Soon the two journeys become one as the men struggle together to rebuild their family and find new hope in God.

David de Vos along with executive producer David McFadzen, who also aided in creating the TV series Home Improvement, worked together to create a movie that depicts a correct balance between science and story.

Trinity Broadcast Network broadcast the world premier of "The Theory Of Everything" recently in Los Angeles. 'The Theory of Everything' is a . first class movie that can be watched by every member of the family. It has a powerful storyline with a clear moral point that will encourage and inspire those who watch it," said Paul Crouch Jr, TBN.

The movie was written and directed by lead actor David de Vos. David de Vos is a veteran actor and acclaimed director/producer with such credits as Back to the Future - The Ride, The Making of Terminator 2, The O. C.: A Day in the Life, Star Trek the Experience, Switched, and several other feature television and motion picture credits.

Actor Victor Lundin plays Dr. Eugene Holland. He is noted for being the first ever Klingon in the classic hit Star Trek. And he has appeared in Gunsmoke, Get Smart, Batman, The Greatest Story Ever Told and he has dozens of other film and television credits. But he finds his most rewarding work in sharing the Gospel message through his work.

Born and raised in Walnut Creek, CA, David de Vos attended college at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. When a Hollywood production came to town, he volunteered as a set decorator, working nights for nearly two months. He was immediately captivated by the art and process of filmmaking. David de Vos, writer, pilot, and director, has had experience in a wealth of TV and commercial work, including directing and acting for companies such as Universal Studios Hollywood, Paramount Parks, PAX TV, and working on specials for Fox and Disney. He and his wife, Stephanie, now reside in La Crescenta, California with their two daughters.
