Introducing AP Records
Armando has been in the community as music educator and assistant band director at schools such as Palmer High school, Doherty, etc. He is the heart beat and muscle of AP Records. As the chief engineer and producer as well as multi instrumentalist he brings his expertise to all his clients. Recently, Armando has also become known as “Encompass”, the solo artist. He has released 4 music albums that encompass different musical styles from Jazz, Blues, to Rock. His music is a beautiful multicultural journey that touches base in many parts of the world. Armando attributes his musical beginnings to his Puerto Rican family influences. Introduced originally to playing the guitar by his father, Armando learned the true beauty of the Hispanic musical elements and influences from his grandfather, Jose Olivero, in Puerto Rico who was a master guitarist on the island All music of his albums has been composed and performed by him. Everything from drums, piano, guitar, bass, and various strings, as well as all percussion have been played live by this talented musical genius. His song “Spread Your Wings” has landed him in the top Jazz charts. AP Records prides itself to be a diverse company that has supported all cultures, but with an emphasis on minority groups. AP Records celebrates this diversity through the representation of its clients. Artists of all genres are carried on the Indie label. The following names are just a small representation of some artists that are currently represented by the company. In the genre of Jazz listeners can find Encompass, Tony Exum, Wayne Farris. Some of the Hip Hop and R&D artists are Melissa Miguel, the dynamic duo Klazzique, Tiffany, Mellow D, and Soné G. The company also carries some very talented Rap artists such as the Hooligan Mobb, Rock bands such as the Lance Upper Cut, as well as a folk band that performs at all of the renaissance festivals, the Whirly Jigs. AP Records also has recorded, produced, and published a series of meditation CD's that feature an alliance of healers, artists, and master musician such as the Rev. Ahriana Platten, M.Th, and master musician Armando Olivero, M.A. AP Records is an innovative and modern recording studio in the State of Colorado. What sets this company apart from other studios is that most clients don't have to pay for the regular accrued recording costs that are customary in the industry such as studio time, recording time, engineering, mixing, mastering, photography, etc. So far, the company has managed to support the artists, record complete albums, release and publish their music without a charge to the artist. AP Records has supported its clients trough the means of grants and donations. Artists often don't have the means to afford their desire for creativity and are prevented from showing their talent to the community but with the help of this generous company the artists have been showcased and presented at local as well as at national events and performances.
